|Welcome -- thanks for stopping by!|
|Welcome to With Love From the Home Front. Here's just a taste of what's inside:
Sometimes I think
It's the only damn word
This Navy knows.
All those little good-byes
Basic, drills, reserves,
It's only a few weeks,
Only half as long
As we've been married.
And now I stand here
At the pier, waving good-bye.
This time, it's the big good-bye
Or, at least, the biggest
I can bear to think about.
Not a damn thing good about it.
I hope you'll want to see more, and read more. I hope that you'll find poems here that have meaning for you -- because every line really was written with Love From the Home Front.
I'd love to hear from you! Please drop me a line at the e-mail below.
